Trent Refractories offer comprehensive in house testing facilities as part of our quality standards. Standard and supplementary testing is undertaken ensuring quality across the full range of refractory products. Testing Capabilities include Standard Testing, Bulk Density (ISO 5017), Apparent Porosity (ISO 5017), Cold Crushing Strength (ISO 100592-2), Permanent Linear Change (BS EN 993-10), Grading Analysis (ISO 2591-1), Flowability (EN 1402-4), Cold MOR (ISO 5014), Setting time with furnace capabilities up to 1600°C.
Supplementary Testing includes Static Corrosion Resistance (Slag, Iron, Alkali), Thermal Shock Resistance (DIN 51068), Retained Strength Testing (ASTM C1525) and Hydration Resistance Testing.
