25 July 2019 - Race Day Success In The Trent Refractories Novice Stakes In Doncaster

We held our annual networking event at Doncaster Race Course on Thursday 25th July 2019 which also coincided with the hottest day of the year so far with temperatures in excess of 35°C. On an action packed afternoon and evening we held our networking event with customers, suppliers staff and partners all enjoying six races including the Trent Refractories Novice Stakes which was our sponsored race.

The race had eight runners over 7 furlongs 6 yards with the going good to firm. The winner received a cheque for just under £4500 being Valdermoro trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Tony Hamilton with a winning time of 1 minute 25 seconds who tracked the leaders, went 2nd over 2 furlongs out, led over 1 furlong out, clear inside final furlong. We would like to thank everyone involved and all who attended the event.
